Living on the Kite boat
On our Kite Boat "Kite Adventure" you live like in the hotel. The boat is 30m long, has four decks, 10 modern and comfortably equipped double cabins, and thus offers space for max. 20 guests to stay overnight. Each cabin has its private shower and toilet. In the main saloon, as well as outside on the main and upper deck there is enough space to relax.
Between about 17 o'clock in the afternoon and 9 o'clock in the morning the boat belongs to the overnight guests. During the day, there are usually other guests who use our boat as a "floating kite center" to kite in the beautiful Soma Bay.
Normally, our boat stays anchored overnight at the Kite Spot in Soma Bay. Here the boat lies absolutely calm and without rocking, even if the wind blows through the whole night. Depending on wind forecasts and guests' needs, the boat will go back to the marina on some evenings, so guests staying overnight on board the boat can dine with guests at one of the surrounding restaurants or attend one of the weekly party events.
You can make your stay on our boat flexible. It does not matter if you only want to stay one night, a week or more. Thus, you can choose any combination of "beach hotel" and "boat hotel" for your kite holiday with us.
Kitesurfing from sunrise to sunset
The Soma Bay offers excellent conditions for kite surfing and is therefore well known and popular. Nevertheless, there is still plenty of space for kiting on our kite spot even on high season days. And if you spend the night on our kite boat, you can be on the water early in the morning from sunrise and even until sunset. The Soma Bay is yours before 9am and after 4pm!
Optionally, you can set up your kite on the boat and launch directly from the boat, or in the shallow lagoon next to the boat. Of course one of our kite-assistants and rescue-drivers is always available.
If you bring your own kite material, we have enough space to store everything comfortably and dry on the boat. If you do not bring your own material, we always have enough F-One rental equipment on board.
